Like you I have taken time to fall in love with roses but I’m deeply committed now. It’s so true that having plants which remind you of people or experiences really adds to our affection for them.
Lovely and interesting piece. Ilike roses, but in my garden the result is average. The very humid Breton climate does not always suit them. rain on the flowers, diseases such as mildew or brown spots are often part of the celebration. but l détermination, l have 7 shrub roses and 2 climbing😅
A lovely piece Jules, I love Roses so quintessentially English.....I think they are all beautiful in their own way. Your garden has lovely ones. My Mum's favourite was Queen Elizabeth so I have one in my garden and it's bloomed wonderfully this year.....
